Meet Our Team
Tracy Ellis
EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR
-
I love spending time outdoors—whether it’s camping, exploring up north near Hancock, or simply enjoying nature’s beauty. A fun fact about me is that I have a twin brother!
Working at Lakewood and in senior care is truly fulfilling. The most rewarding part of my role is knowing that I’m making a meaningful impact on the lives of our residents and their families. Being part of a community that values compassion and care is something I deeply appreciate.
Susan Grilli
SENIOR SALES LEADER
-
Susan brings over twenty years of experience in health care, hospice, and supporting senior communities. She prides herself on building relationships and leads with compassion. It makes her heart happy when she is supporting families, as they find their new home and make new friends that become family.
Susan is married to Joe; they have a son, daughter in law, and grandson. She has two Sheep-a-Doodles and loves the sun and fun of summertime.
When you see Susan, be sure to ask her how she learned to polka!
Abbey Maier
CLINICAL DIRECTOR
-
Abbey started as a Certified Nursing Assistant in 2018, caring for older adults and people with disabilities in their homes. She then graduated from Edgewood College with her bachelor's in the science of nursing. Abbey has worked as a registered nurse in long term care in a variety of setting including hospice, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities. She takes pleasure in caring for the residents and learning their individual stories. It is a joy to care for this population.
Chloe Tesch
LIFESTYLE MANAGER
-
I’m an artist with a passion for oil painting, specially creating portraits of people—they’re my favorite subject to capture. I also enjoy reading classic literature in my free time. A fun fact about me: I served as president of the Chi Omega Sorority during college, which helped shape my leadership skills and love for community.
What I enjoy most about working at Lakewood is the strong sense of connection—with both the residents' families and my fellow team members. It truly feels like a second home.
Chef Mike
EXECUTIVE CHEF
-
Mike has been a cook on and off for 30 years. He loves working with the senior population and has worked in senior living for the past 10 years. His favorite thing to cook is any Italian dish, specifically chicken Marsala! His favorite dessert to make is bananas foster.
In his free time he likes to play racquetball and go fishing.
Edil Baez
MAINTENANCE DIRECTOR
-
I enjoy fishing and kayaking whenever I can, and I also like working on motorcycles and playing video games.
What I appreciate most about working at Lakewood is spending time with the residents each day. Their involvement and support create meaningful connections that benefit us both.
